An initiative to transform STEM graduate employability in Ghana
iiAfrica in collaboration with the National Service Scheme (NSS) Ghana has introduced the program to recruit and train 1000 Ghananians. The programe termed Ghana1000 seeks to complement the existing National Service Scheme programs by introducing iiAfrica’s Industry Immersion Program (IIP) a pan-African “bridge to industry” program for Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM) graduates providing world-class data analytics and business intelligence skills to enhance their employability in the business ecosystem.
Bringing together iiAfrica’s renowned global academic and strategic partners, in partnership with the local universities and institutions in Ghana, the Ghana1000 seeks to bridge the gap between academia and industry for STEM graduates by providing the necessary skills needed to thrive in the industry. This will thereby enhance the country’s adoption of the Fourth Industrial Revolution (4IR).

In this course, we will look for the answer to this question by doing design thinking.
